The American Central University requires that students wishing to withdraw from a program must submit a written notice to the University. The official date of withdrawal is recorded as the date of the official postmark, or if none appears, the date it is received by the University. Appropriate refunds will be made within 30 days from the withdrawal date.
- A student signing an Enrollment Agreement or making an initial deposit or payment toward tuition and fees of ACU shall be entitled to a 'cooling off period' of at least seven (7) working days from the date of the Agreement or payment deposit, whichever is later. During the 'cooling off period' the agreement can be withdrawn and all payments refunded.
- Students who wish to withdraw from the course after the 7-day cooling off period and before the commencement of a program are entitled to a full refund minus a deduction of US$50 as a registration fee.
- For a student terminating after one week but within 25% of the course completion, the tuition charges made by the University will be 25% of the contract price of a course plus a US$ 50 registration fee.
- For a student terminating after completing over 25% of the course, the tuition charges made by the University will be 50% of the contract price of a course plus a US$ 50 registration fee.
For the student terminating after completing 50% or more of the course, the school will retain full tuition fee.
